Is it a good question to ask when you write an essay on self-discovery and have not a clue what the purpose of the essay is?Many people, myself included, may be caught up in the idea that writing an essay on self-discovery means reading a memoir or autobiography. In fact, if you do a search for the essay writing on who am I? You will find over again that memoir writers are making more money and getting more praise for doing this rather than someone writing an essay.Well, I do not disagree with the first point they made. I suppose it may be true that the essay writing on who am I? as a verb gives the essay a different feel. It may even be true that the essay, at the end of the day, is a tool that makes writing easier.If we use it right, I believe we can make an essay longer and add length to the essay by using the essay as a way to discuss each point. If we consider the function of the essay as a vehicle to better understanding who am I, the n maybe this person is writing their own piece of art, with its own voice. Maybe their own voice is a reflection of who they are.Their own voice and how that expresses themselves will be exactly what they want the reader to hear. We must remember that each writer has a voice and that each writer has a story to tell.Now, when you write an essay on self-discovery and you do not know who you are, do not despair. Try to find out and write down those questions you do not know and form a list.When you start writing, you have to determine what the purpose of the essay is. Make a list of those questions, because you are going to need answers. I know for me, it was to know who I was, what I was about, and how I fit into the larger picture.If you continue to write an essay on self-discovery, you will find that you have your answer to all of these questions. Perhaps you will be able to discover what your purpose is in writing a piece of essay writing on who am I?
